It’s hard to miss the shiny silver building that houses Tom’s Burgers and Grill. Near the corner of I-30 and Cooper, Tom’s Burgers & Grill does a lot of things well including their chicken fried steak and breakfast. But many Arlingtonites make a special trip for the burgers. Choose from nearly 20 options including the popular BBQ Burger (cheddar cheese, fried jalapeño rings, two onion rings, bacon and hickory bbq sauce) and Mushroom Swiss Burger. The burgers are cooked over a pecan wood flamed grill and served at either 1/2 lb. or 1/3 lb. 1530 N Cooper Street.

Chop House Burgers

What is there to say that hasn’t already been said about Chop House Burgers? Chef and owner Kenny Mills (who no longer owns the restaurant) has attracted tons of locals from Arlington and beyond to W. Park Row Drive just for a taste of the famed Chop House Burger. The Chop House Burger is made up of char-grilled ground beef and slow roasted brisket mixed together, a house made steak sauce, applewood bacon and smoked cheddar cheese. With tomatoes, lettuce and thinly sliced onions on a butter toasted bun, your stomach will thank you. In addition to the famed burgers, Chop House Burgers also features 11 other burgers that will make you realize why this place was well deserving of being featured on Food Network’s Diners Drive-Ins and Dives a few years ago. 1700 W Park Row Drive.

A popular choice is their Angry Burger which consists of roasted green chili peppers, garlic, fried jalapenos, chipotle mayo and pepper jack cheese. Grease Monkey has five other specialty burgers that include a Chicken Fried Burger (the patty is breaded and fried) and Fried Portobello Mushroom Burger. In addition to the uniqueness of their burgers, Grease Monkey uses a sweet sourdough bun that is toasted with a butter spread made up of cilantro, honey, lime and jalapeños.  200 N Mesquite Street.
