If you’re like me, your morning routine is fairly uneventful.
Ensure your prework jolt is a good one at Potager’s Other Stuff (the sibling of Potager Cafe), which is now downtown Arlington’s first local coffee shop. The shop is located at the corner of Mesquite St. and Abram St.
Potager’s Other Stuff is not new to Arlington. It’s been around for a while and served things like organic beer, wine and foods. Now in addition to that, it offers an organic menu of espresso, french press coffee, lattes, and an assortment of tea to put pep in your step. And you can fuel up on pleasurable pastries like scones and bagels from Empire Baking Company.
Don’t feel compelled to rush out the door. Stick around and chat with owner Cynthia Chippendale and other caffeine-craving customers. Or grab a seat, whip out your laptop and get stuff done since free wifi is available.
If you’ve been looking for a reason to un-Starbucks or just wanted a place to grab coffee downtown, pay Potager’s Other Stuff a visit. Your tastebuds will be happy you did.
