Eating your favorite food with a fork on a plate is way too easy.
Go next level by trading both in for a cone. If you’re down, Epic Cones needs to be your next stop.
True to its name, the restaurant nestles its grub inside of flavorful cones. The concept makes any concoction extremely portable but ten times more satisfying.
In 2012, Epic Cones opened in Dallas. After their landlord planned to sell the building Epic Cones leased, they decided to move to Arlington in August 2013. You’ll find it attached to Epic Mart (same owners) near the corner of I-20 and Kelly Elliott.
The idea stemmed from a visit to a food show while Epic Cones’ owner Chris Martinez ran a Dallas-based nightclub.
Since the initial idea, Chris has developed a diverse range of food choices that you’ll find on the Epic Cones menu. Popular items are pepperoni pizza, meat lovers pizza and BBQ brisket. In addition, you can order cones ranging from burgers to a vegetable frittata.
If you’re craving something sweet, its offerings of dessert cones include strawberry cheesecake, apple pie, peach cobbler, mango mousse cake and more.
Prices range from $4-$7.75.
Talk about an epic reason to fork over your money.
