UTA Planetarium
Soak in the beauty of the stars and learn the history and science behind them at the University of Texas at Arlington’s celebrated Planetarium. The adult entry fee is $6, while seniors pay only $4. Shows run in this 60-foot diameter dome couple stunning visual effects with powerful surround sound, transporting visitors to space and beyond. With as many as 14 different shows a week, this is a date you can return to without losing the excitement.
The Star of Texas Public Art Project
Part of a public art project, these 21 giant fiberglass stars across Arlington are each designed uniquely by local artist and artists throughout Texas. Go old school: Print the map of these six-foot stars and experience the search for them together. Cross them off as you visit.
