Plano, Texas, is located in the northeastern part of the state of Texas, within the United States. It is just north of Dallas, and is part of the Dallas-Fort Worth metropolitan area.
You’re about 19 minutes to downtown Dallas and about 45 minutes to downtown Fort Worth. You have easy highway access around the metroplex. Residents have access to TX 183 W route to get to Fort Worth or US-75 S route to Dallas.
Plano is easily accessible to Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (30 minute drive) as well as Dallas Love Field (33 minute drive).
