Arlington ranks #33 in the country for the best cities to raise children, according to a recent MyLife.com study. Arlington is the fifth best city in Texas behind Plano (#6), Austin (#11), El Paso (#26), and Houston (#29).
The MyLife.com study focused on the country’s largest cities and was based on the following factors:

- Public School Ranking
- Public Parks Per Capita
- Average Family Salary
- Cost of Living
